Did you know that yesterday was National Compliment Day? Our staff and students shared compliments across the Cougar campus throughout the day and it was such a wonderful way to spend the day! We'd love to compliment Mr. Mykel Qader, who has been a guest custodian for us for the last two days. He has such a positive attitude and does whatever he can to bring smiles to our Cougar kiddos. He played music over the speaker system during lunches and went out of his way to recognize today's Leader of the Day, who was just a bit nervous during the morning announcements. Our beginning and advanced violinists did a stellar job performing at tonight’s winter strings concert. We couldn’t be more proud of their hard work! Our Leader of the Day program is hands down one of the best parts of every day! These kiddos are chosen by their teachers for their awesome leadership skills, being amazing friends, and positively contributing to our Cougar community! They help with the morning announcements and lead our entire campus in the Pledge of Allegiance, which is such a treat for us! These are just a few of our Leaders of the Day from this school year. Welcome back, Cougars! Mrs. Filleman’s 5th graders were super excited to share which classroom jobs they were hired for to start the new semester. Each scholar completed an application for their desired positions and hire letters went out today.
